THE FOUR GENTLEMEN: BAMBOO
In Chinese culture, Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Chrysanthemum are called "The Four Gentlemen of Plants." As the first set designed under the concept of playful learning of plant anatomy, this set of “building blocks” mimic the internal parts of the bamboo, including the roots, the culms, and the branches, etc.
Both children and adults can find all the essential parts to grow their own bamboo, from the “pot” provided or on any flat surface. One can follow the illustrated prompt cards, complete the mission on the cards, or free play on their own. Building instructions and quick facts about the plant are provided to ensure learning while playing.
